Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alabama
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• Women's Services experience
• Antepartum experience
• Post Partum experience
• Nursery experience
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NRP
• STABLE
• AWHONN

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, treatments, assessments, care planning, and patient education
• Assists with activities of daily living and coordinates care across disciplines
• Circulates during C-sections, assists with deliveries, and supports recovery and care of surgical patients
• Assesses neonates after delivery and attends the neonatal station in the C-section suite
• Communicates patient information to physicians, patients, families, and the care team
