36 hours per week
Every other weekend
May be placed on call for the scheduled shift if not needed

Unit Overview

24-bed ICU
Patient ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
Floating may be required to another ICU

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Trauma experience

Preferred Experience

Level 1 or 2 trauma experience
Cardiovascular surgery experience

Commonly Used Equipment / Procedures

Vents, Swan-Ganz, Impella, balloon pumps
Intubation, central lines, bronchoscopy, EVDs, ICP monitoring, pacers, bolts

Work Environment

Royal blue scrubs
Strong customer service skills preferred
