Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, approximately 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• Cath Lab with 2 cath suites equipped with Philips equipment
• Hospital size: 272 beds
• Staff: 5 Techs and 6 RNs total; day shift typically 3-5 Techs and 2-4 RNs
• Night shift staff are on call
• EMR systems used: Meditech and Mac Lab
• Typical procedures: Basic Cath Lab skills including scrubbing and monitoring, conscious and moderate sedation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting
• Current Cath Lab Tech Certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Ability to respond to on-call duties approximately 7-8 days per month, including one weekend
• On-call response time within 30 minutes

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or RCIS certification
• Experience with EP scrubbing
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
