Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer

Job Overview

  • Travel assignment in Andalusia, Alabama
  • 13-week contract
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Must be willing to take call

Required Qualifications

  • Ultrasound Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
  • ARDMS or RDCS
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ARRT

Preferred Qualifications

  • Echo tech experience

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide timely diagnostic services for inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a radiologist and departmental protocols
  • Perform abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms
  • Scan small parts, including thyroid, breast, and scrotum
  • Assist with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations
