Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Travel Position

Location: Winchester, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Role: Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Setting: Acute Care & Emergency Department
Patient Types: Inpatients in Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical Unit, and Step-Down Unit
Shift: Night shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3 x 12-hour shifts)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-Call: None
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification (AHA only)
Experience with Epic electronic medical record system

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 495
Patient Ratios: Approximately 80:1, typically seeing 20-25 patients per round
Dress Code: Hunter Green scrubs; adherence to facility dress code policy required

Job Responsibilities

Patient assessment and treatment of pulmonary diseases
Pulmonary-related patient education
Acute care and emergency respiratory therapy services
