Every other weekend

Call/standby required with LCD
Floating required

Unit Details

Medical-surgical float unit
61 combined beds
Typical patient population includes surgical and medical patients such as total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, CHF, CVA, SOB, and diabetic issues
Nurse aide ratio: 1:15
Respiratory equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Dakota
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS certification

Clinical Expectations

No titrating drips required
Charge nurse/house supervisor: no
Telemetry present; monitor tech reads strips and RN confirms
