Role Summary

  • Provides nursing care with a focus on assessing and monitoring medical and psychiatric needs.
  • Coordinates healthcare appointments and follow-ups.
  • Delegates medication administration and nursing tasks to direct support staff.
  • Maintains, reviews, and audits medical records.
  • Includes an on-call rotation every 3rd week, mainly by phone.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Illinois
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS
  • Acute Care experience
  • Psychiatric experience within the last year
  • 1 year of psychiatric experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Occasional kneeling, climbing, stooping, crouching, and balancing.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs independently, push/pull up to 40 lbs of force, and safely transfer up to 50 lbs.
