Job Overview

• Location: Morristown, New Jersey
• Schedule: 9p–7a, Sunday through Wednesday
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Call: Included

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New Jersey
• CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (R)
• ARRT (CT)
• NJDEP – New Jersey State X-Ray License
• BLS
• High school diploma or GED and completion of a radiographer technical training program

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain supplies, contrast media, biopsy/drainage supplies, and linen for scanning rooms
• Maintain sterility, cleanliness, and orderliness of the CT work area and equipment
• Communicate with patients and families before, during, and after procedures while maintaining privacy and dignity
• Verify patient identification and follow HIPAA requirements
• Monitor patients before and after contrast injections and report changes to nursing staff and radiologist
• Assist with emergency response and urgent or unscheduled procedures
• Screen for allergies and medication incompatibilities
• Follow venipuncture and power injector protocols
• Perform QA/QC requirements and report equipment malfunctions
• Acquire, process, send, and verify images in PACS/RIS for urgent cases according to protocol
• Notify the radiologist of unusual findings
