Job Details
- Position: NICU Registered Nurse
- Location: Madison, Wisconsin
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, day (7:00am–7:30pm) and night (7:00pm–7:30am)
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with 2-3 weekends required per 6-week scheduling period
- Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Description
- Provide care in a Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Manage post-operative patients, gastrostomy tubes (G-tubes), tracheostomy and ventilator management
- Experience with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation required
Required Qualifications & Compliance
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Experience with post-operative patients
- Experience with gastrostomy tubes (G-tubes)
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator management
- Experience with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation
