On-call: 36 hours every 6 weeks
Weekend requirement: every other weekend or 2 weekends per month

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
AWHONN
NRP

Additional candidate requirements

Driver’s license or state ID
2 supervisory references
7-year work history with no unexplained gaps over 30 days
Unit-specific skills checklist completed within the last year
Employment application must list nursing license state, license number, and expiration date

Health and compliance requirements

Physical exam within 12 months of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
TB questionnaire
MMR documentation
Hepatitis B documentation
Varicella documentation
Drug screening
Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption, depending on start date
Color blindness testing within 12 months prior to start
Core competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency exam
Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam for RNs

Time off during listed holidays or holiday weeks will not be accommodated
