Job Overview

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Neonate patients

Schedule / Assignment Details

First-time travelers are accepted if they meet the experience requirement
May float to Mother Baby Unit
May be required to float to sister facilities based on facility need
Call required: one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks
Weekend requirement: 6 to 8 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2

55 beds
Average daily census: 48
Specializes in micro preemies under 28 weeks and cares for infants from 22 weeks to post-term

Additional Notes

Epic charting
Navy scrubs
RTO allowed up to 10 days maximum, with blackout dates during specified periods
