Job Opportunity: PACU Registered Nurse
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours each (Day shifts)
- 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (Pre-op)
- 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM (Post-op)
- On-Call:
- 2 on-call shifts Monday through Friday
- 1 on-call 12-hour shift on the weekend (6-week rotation)
- Includes 1 summer and 1 winter on-call holiday
- Floating: Possible float to GI or pain center if needed
- Patient Population: Adults and Pediatrics
- Charting System: Cerner Aecis Surgi Net
- Scrubs: Provided
- Block scheduling: Not accommodated
- First-time travelers: Welcome
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
- Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
