Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
Schedule: 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
Position Type: Float Pool (must be willing to float between departments and multiple facilities)

Job Description

Provide patient care on the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
Ability and willingness to float between departments and multiple facilities

Additional Information

This is a float pool position requiring flexibility to work across several facilities.
Night shift with a 3/12 schedule and weekend work required.
