Contract Length:
13 weeks

Labor & Delivery unit with:
- 10 labor beds
- 13 postpartum beds
- 2 operating rooms
Staffing:
- Typically 4-5 labor RNs and 2 postpartum RNs per shift
- OB scrub tech and lactation consultants available
- Level 2 NICU staffed 24/7 with 2 RNs
- 24/7 in-house OB hospitalist and neonatology provider
Shifts:
- Day and night shifts with similar staffing levels
Patient Ratios: Vary depending on labor stage
Equipment: Labor tubs for midwifery patients, fetal monitoring system
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems: Meditech and CPN

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Floating: May assist in postpartum unit as needed
Dress Code: Scrubs provided by facility
On-call: One to two on-call shifts per month preferred
