Nursing Home Registered Nurse

Overview

• Contract assignment in Mauston, Wisconsin
• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend PM shift

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS
• Long Term Care experience within the last year
• Long Term Care (1 year of experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Four-year degree in nursing
• 1+ years of related work experience

Responsibilities

• Communicate significant resident condition changes to physicians and families
• Complete resident assessments
• Administer medications using the 5 Rights
• Perform wound care and assessments as needed
• Assist CNAs with answering call lights
• Monitor residents for changes in condition
• Lead on the floor by assessing and directing situations as needed
• Report allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
• Maintain accurate resident records and charting
