Interventional Radiology RN

Location

Phoenix, Arizona

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Day shift
10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
Start times vary between 0700-1730 and 0730-1800 based on need
Occasional Saturday coverage, about 1-2 times per month
Holiday coverage may be needed

Required Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona
BLS certification
ACLS certification
2 years of experience
Neuro IR experience
Level I trauma experience
Experience in pre-op, PACU, or ICU
Must be able to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
Must pass a day 1 pass/fail SIMs lab

Assignment Details

Interventional radiology setting with body IR focus
Pre- and post-procedural care for patients receiving conscious sedation and general anesthesia
No call
5 angio rooms, 2 CT scanners, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine support
Cerner used for charting
Scrubs are supplied

Patient Population

Outpatient and inpatient patients, including critical care and telemetry patients

Additional Notes

Travel teams must have their own vehicle
Natural hair color required
No facial piercings
Men must be clean shaven for fit testing
