Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification
1 year of Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Coordinate patient care and follow-up for device clinic patients
Interrogate and manage cardiac implantable electronic devices
Monitor and document patient response to device therapy and programming changes
Perform ordered diagnostic tests and treatments, including EKGs, event monitors, Holter monitors, and Zio Patch application, removal, and data processing
Coordinate surgical and procedural interventions related to cardiac implantable electronic devices
Support patients undergoing MRI studies, surgical procedures, and other interventions
Provide patient and family education related to devices, arrhythmia management, and electrophysiology procedures
Participate in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and departmental initiatives

Fast-paced clinical setting
Regular exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, medications, infectious diseases, and emotionally challenging situations

On-time completion of required education is expected per applicable requirements
Candidate must live at least 90 miles from the facility
