Location: York, Maine
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: Three 13-hour day shifts per week (Sunday, Wednesday, Saturday, 6:30 am to 7:00 pm) with possible variable shifts based on census

Job Description

Provide care appropriate to patients of all ages, including geriatric, pediatric, and general populations
Ensure patient safety and confidentiality at all times
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and team members
Perform MRI procedures, including protocol development and execution
Screen patients for contraindications and follow safety requirements per ACR and facility protocols
Educate patients about MRI procedures and address their concerns with tact and courtesy
Monitor patients visually and verbally throughout procedures
Operate MRI and related equipment necessary for patient care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and report equipment status
Assist with inventory monitoring
Perform other related duties as needed

Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of experience
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
Associate's degree or certificate earned from a two-year college, university, or specialized certificate program

Additional Information

Holidays are covered by call and may require assistance
Proper completion of timecards is mandatory for processing
