Job Description

• Provide nursing care in Oncology with chemotherapy certification.
• Work every 3rd weekend.
• Floating within scope of practice as needed.
• No on-call required.
• Locals within 100-mile radius are not accepted.
• Pending license accepted.
• Return to office (RTO) restrictions ideally no more than 5 days.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota (pending license accepted).
• Minimum 2 years of Oncology nursing experience, with Oncology experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Chemotherapy certification through ONS or ONCC.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Schedule & Work Conditions

• Night shift (7 PM to 7:30 AM), 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each.
• Will work every 3rd weekend.
• Floating to other units within scope as needed.
• No block scheduling or on-call required.
• Parking is free for night shift after the first day.

Important Notes

• Candidates must complete the Minnesota DHS Net Study Questionnaire immediately after signing the contract to initiate fingerprinting.
• Fingerprinting must be completed within 2 weeks of registration.
• Candidates may need to travel to a livescan location if not within driving distance.
• Background checks and health documents must be current and uploaded with appropriate expiration dates.
• Candidates with latex allergy should be aware the facility is latex-free.
• Exemptions for certain immunizations (e.g., Tdap) require approval and may restrict patient care areas.
• Candidates must provide a passport-style photo for badge issuance within 48 hours of contract signing.
• Modules completed before May 13, 2024, must be redone.
• Locals within 100 miles are not accepted for this travel assignment.
