Overview

• Travel RN assignment in Dublin, Ohio
• 12-week contract
• Weekly orientation on Mondays
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours: 24 every two weeks
• No call requirements
• 1 opening
• Unit has 72 beds
• Patient ratio: 1:4-6
• Adults only
• Float requirements: yes, as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Psychiatric experience with 2 years of experience
• Psychiatric experience within the last year
• BLS
• HWC
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• COWS (Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale) assessment experience
• CIWA (Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment) experience
• Response to CODE Blue situations
• Response to violent patient situations
• De-escalation techniques

Required Skills / Experience

• Admissions
• Discharges
• Shift assessments
• Emergency and regular medication administration

Unit / Patient Population

• Psychiatry / Behavioral and Mental Health / Addiction
• Common diagnoses treated include alcohol and drug addiction, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, psychosis, and schizophrenia

Schedule / Work Environment

• Shift details were not specified
• Navy blue scrubs and shirts underneath or scrub coat
• Uniform required; no hoods
