Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Telemetry experience

Experience within the past year caring for cardiovascular surgery and vascular surgery patients (including open heart, TAVR, lobectomy, AAA repair, fem-pop bypass)
Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) experience

Epidural management
Chest tube management
Tube feedings
IV glucose management
Cardiac drip management (phenylephrine, dobutamine, dopamine, milrinone, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, heparin, nitroglycerin, ketamine)

Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Flexibility required
Floating assignments possible to other stepdown or medical-surgical units and ER inpatient holding area
Dress code: Navy scrubs, white tops with navy bottoms, or all white

No on-call required
Minimum 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (including day and night shifts)
Holiday flexibility required

This position is a travel nurse role focused on cardiovascular progressive care with a strong emphasis on telemetry and stepdown nursing skills.
