Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location

Tucson, Arizona

Employment Type

Travel contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Start: ASAP, preferably within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3 twelve-hour shifts per week)
Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) every 6 weeks
Float pool position: Must be willing to float between multiple departments and facilities

Job Description

Provide patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership for safe care delivery
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Telemetry experience with a minimum of 2 years, including experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
