RN - Emergency Dept

Role Overview

• Travel RN position in an emergency department in Boerne, Texas
• 13-week assignment
• 36 hours per week
• Shift options: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Rotating weekends or 4 weekend shifts per schedule; holidays per unit policy
• No call requirement

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• NIHSS
• CPI

Unit Details

• Emergency department with urgent care, stroke/STEMI, and pediatric cases
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Meditech is used for documentation

Preferred

• Meditech experience preferred

Work Environment

• Navy scrub top and pants; navy or white scrub jacket
• Clean, neat appearance expected, with body art covered when possible and visible piercings other than ears not allowed
