Job Overview

  • Location: Los Alamos, New Mexico
  • Employment type: Travel
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
  • Travel eligibility: Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered travel

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New Mexico
  • ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
  • NIH Certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • State compliance: Fingerprinting is required before hire in New Mexico, with documentation that the check is being processed
  • Background check process: Clinicians may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting for results, but must be supervised

Additional Notes

  • All required certifications must be available at submission because they are not available on site
  • Each agency must have an account with the New Mexico Department of Health before the background check process can begin
