• Department: Labor and Delivery
• Number of Beds: 8
• Patient Population: Obstetrics, Nursery, Occasional Gynecology Surgery, Occasional Breast Reduction, Abdominoplasty
• Patient Ratios: Per AWHONN Standards
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: MediTech
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed
• Call Requirements: As Needed
• Float Requirements: As Needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience in Labor and Delivery charge nurse roles
• OB/GYN nursing experience

Orientation & Work Culture

• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
• Professional demeanor required; no casual attire allowed
• Scrub color: Any

Additional Notes

• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
• The facility is a 107-bed, all-private room, Joint Commission-accredited hospital serving a broad regional population
• The role involves working in a facility that offers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including a birthing center and wound care center
