MRI Tech - Radiology

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Work in a hospital recognized nationally for clinical quality and patient safety.
• Unit uses GE MRI equipment and Cerner EMR system.
• Typical procedures include MRI with contrast and non-contrast.
• Dress code: Black scrubs.
• Rotating weekends and on-call duties required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid MRI Technologist license in North Carolina.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• ARRT (MR) Certification.
• BLS Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Breast MRI is preferred.

Unit Information

• Staff on day shift includes approximately 9 team members (e.g., charge tech, RNs, CNAs, sitters).
• Located on the 1st floor at 222 Asheland Ave, Asheville, NC.

Work Hours

• Approximately 36 hours per week.

Additional Notes

• Candidates without MRI registration will not be considered.
• The role requires flexibility for rotating weekends and on-call shifts.
