Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, responsible for supervision of daily pharmacy department activities and staff management including scheduling and assignments.
- Perform dispensing and clinical pharmacy functions.
- Develop and implement systems to ensure regulatory compliance, quality assurance, performance improvement, and efficient staff workflows.
- Act as a resource for staff education, orientation, and standard operating procedures.
- Managerial role requiring availability by phone for issues outside of scheduled hours.
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No on-call shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pharmacist license in California
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pharmacist, including experience within the last year
- Experience in Manager roles
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
