• Chandler, Arizona

Contract

• 13 weeks
• Travel contract
• Nights
• 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or a compact license
• BLS
• ACLS
• 2+ years of current telemetry experience
• Must be able to titrate drips
• Must be able to interpret EKGs
• NIHSS for the neuro unit
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam before starting, with up to 2 attempts
• Must pass a simulation lab on day 1 of orientation
• COVID vaccination required, or declination with supporting documentation from clergy or a physician

Unit / Setting

• Telemetry float pool covering MedSurg, cardiovascular telemetry, and neuro
• Frequent floating is required
• Floating may include ICU, cardiac telemetry, telemetry, MedSurg, and holding areas
• May float between campuses during a shift

Schedule / Work Expectations

• Every other weekend required
• May be first to float
• Must work in a setting with centralized telemetry monitoring

Patient Population

• Telemetry, MedSurg, cardiovascular, neuro, orthopedic, surgical, oncology, and post-operative patients
• No pediatrics; patients are 15 years and older

Additional Notes

• Navy scrubs
• Charge nurse present on units
• RT and pharmacy available 24/7
