Adult 26-bed orthopedic spine unit
Typical patient mix includes med/surg, telemetry, cardiac, low-risk ACS, TIAs, diabetes, hypertension, COPD, dehydration, chest pain, DVT, and PE
Common procedures include bedside lumbar puncture, post-cath care, post-surgical care, post-renal biopsy care, CT angiography, and heparin drips
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5-6

May be required to float to other units or campuses as needed, within documented competencies

Pending license not accepted
Driver’s license or state ID required for computer access and must be carried on duty
Background check required
E-Verify or attestation required
OFAC, SAM, and HHS/OIG searches required
Education verification required
Physical exam required within 1 year of start
Badge photo required
Online orientation modules required before start
Pre-assignment testing required before start
CMS site documents required for RNs
