Overview

• Travel assignment in Statesboro, Georgia
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 6:45a–7:15p
• Weekend and call coverage required
• Floating required between departments in the Women’s Pavilion
• Auto offers only; no interviews

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• 2 or more completed travel assignments
• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP

Schedule Details

• 2 twelve-hour call shifts every 6 weeks, with one call shift on a weekend
• Block scheduling may be accommodated if weekend requirements are met

Clinical Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist laboring patients
• Communicate with providers
• Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections
• Triage patients at 20 weeks and up
• Support newborn resuscitation during deliveries
• Recover vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Provide care for antepartum patients requiring Labor & Delivery care

• Patient ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
• Unit has 13 beds: 8 LDRs and 5 triage beds
• Scrub color: Navy blue
