Denver, Colorado

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Day shift, 8-hour shifts

Required Qualifications

  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
  • NMTCB certification or ARRT (NM)
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures and related imaging equipment operation
  • Educate, position, and immobilize patients for procedures
  • Coordinate examinations to support timeliness, quality, and continuity of care
  • Follow provider imaging orders and submit images and clinical information for interpretation
  • Evaluate image quality
  • Prepare and administer radioisotopes according to protocol
  • Follow radiation safety measures and infection prevention policies
  • Maintain records of radioisotope receipts, use, storage, and disposal
  • Assist with patient transfers during examinations

  • Strong communication and teamwork in a multi-functional environment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to learn role-specific applications
