CT Tech - Radiology (Travel)

Location: Longview, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM), 7 on / 7 off
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic CT and X-ray exams in a freestanding ER radiology setting.
• Use Toshiba Aquillion 64 CT scanner and GE X-ray units (including portable).
• Provide timely diagnostic services to inpatients and outpatients under Radiologist direction and departmental protocols.
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy is required.
• Use EMR systems: MEDHOST EDIS and Change Healthcare PACS (McKesson).
• No floating, no call, no 48-hour shifts. Block scheduling possible but no block shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience in an acute care setting, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification required

• Preferred dress code: black scrubs; solid colors allowed.
