PCU RN Travel/Contract Job

Location

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Night shift, 4x12 hours
• Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of nursing experience
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Ability to manage 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio in Medical-Surgical settings
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Non-invasive airway management
• Experience with Epic

Job Details

• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates must live within 75 miles
• Med-surg/step-down patient population with telemetry monitoring
• Care includes dysrhythmia management, rapid response/code team support, peripheral line care, oxygen support, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
