Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Kingman, Arizona
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• 36 hours per week
• Orientation every Monday
• Ratio: 1:5–6
• Locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• State license verification
• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check within 30 days of start, with annual updates
• Education verification through NSCH
• Transcript or diploma
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit test within 1 year of start
• Negative TB or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity documentation as applicable by birth year
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Varicella documentation
• 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
• 2 references within 3 years of start
• Skills checklist
• Competency exam as applicable by profession/specialty
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable by profession
• Facility-specific job description and required facility forms

Preferred

• Meditech charting experience

Float Scope

• May float to other Med Surg units
• May float to PCU only if skills align
• ACLS is required if floating to PCU

Additional Notes

• Blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Potential for remote Telemetry monitoring
