Labor and Delivery Nurse

Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Kingman, Arizona
• Night shift: 1x12 hours, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Orientation starts every Monday
• Float assignment includes Labor and Delivery and postpartum
• Patient ratio: 1:2 depending on acuity

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Post Partum experience

Charting

• MEDITECH
• OBIX preferred, but not required

Compliance and Onboarding

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check with 7-year search within 30 days of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
• HHS/OIG screening
• Transcript or diploma
• Education verification through NSCH
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity documentation based on birth year requirements
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Varicella documentation
• 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
• 2 references within 3 years of start
• Annual skills checklist
• Facility-specific forms and training, including confidentiality, behavioral expectations, right to know, HIPAA/information security, candidate form, and job description
• Passport-style badge photo
