Operating Room RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Olney, Maryland
• Start date: 12/7
• Weekly orientation on Monday
• Locals within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate
• Scrubs provided
• Flu vaccine required

Schedule

• 2 day shifts of 8 hours: 06:45–15:15 or 10:45–19:15
• 2 day shifts of 12 hours: 06:45–19:15
• On-call required: up to five 12-hour call shifts per six-week scheduling period
• Call coverage is primarily on weekends; one weekday call shift may also be assigned

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience working with General Surgery patients
• Driver's License

Preferred

• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP
• TNCC
• NIH Stroke Certification

Additional Notes

• The role is based in the Operating Room
• Weekend call runs from Saturday 7:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
• Weekday call, if assigned, is Tuesday night
