MS/Tele RN Travel Contract

Location

Chesapeake, Virginia

Schedule

Night shift
4x12 hours
48 hours per week
Every other weekend, floating, and holidays are required
Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays
Preferred schedule must be indicated at submission

Assignment Details

Medical-surgical/telemetry post-op unit
Cares for orthopedic, spinal surgery, bariatric surgery, and colorectal surgery patients
Also cares for Level III trauma patients and medical-surgical overflow as census permits
Unit can monitor up to 8 telemetry patients
Typical patient ratio is 1:7

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Experience with Epic

Required Certifications

BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association

Additional Requirements

Must be fully comfortable with the patient ratios before submission
Longer assignments through January 9, 2027 are available
No license or background hits will be considered
Submission must include:
- Completed cover sheet
- Current NURSYS report
- All requested time off listed on the cover sheet
