Overview

Role Summary

  • Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery
  • Duties include rotating through triage, antepartum, labor, circulating, and transition; no postpartum assignment

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • NIHSS

  • Physical exam, negative TB screening, drug screening, and immunization/documentation requirements are listed as pre-start compliance items
  • References and a skills checklist are required
  • Texas state background and registry checks are required before start
