Job Description
- Provide comprehensive patient care across multiple medical-surgical units, including inpatient Med Surg units, step down units, and Emergency Department (for Med Surg holds).
- Adapt quickly to varying patient populations and unit workflows.
- Function independently with strong clinical judgment.
- Float between multiple units as needed.
- Orientation at main campus on start date; additional short orientation at Women and Families unit.
Work Schedule
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
- Holiday Requirement: Agency staff are not scheduled on holidays.
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:4 on standard Med Surg units (may vary by unit acuity and staffing).
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current BLS certification
- NIHHS certification

- Must be comfortable floating between multiple units.
