Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location: Cherokee, Iowa
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours: 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours)
Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend
Float Requirements: May float to MedSurg; potential cross-training to CCU and/or House Supervisor roles

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN or an RN with a strong interest in OB to join a supportive team focused on excellent patient care. The role involves primarily night shifts with some floating to MedSurg to ensure full hours. The environment is rural and team-oriented.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Iowa
• Current BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification (current or to be obtained)
• PALS Certification (current or to be obtained)
• Mandatory Reporter certification (current or to be obtained)

Additional Information

• Must have solid clinical skills and excellent customer service abilities
• Ability and willingness to cross-train and float as needed
