Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

12-hour day shifts
36 hours per week
Weekends and holidays as needed
Floating may be required based on census; external travelers float first

Unit Details

30 beds
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6/7
One charge RN on the floor with an assignment
PCTs are on the unit
Telemetry is monitored remotely by monitor techs
No ventilators; intermittent BiPAP used

Rule-out cases
Cholecystitis
Appendicitis

Required Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS
NIHSS
Must be able to work within a 50-mile radius rule
Unexpired driver’s license copy must be included with submission
Any licensing hits must be disclosed at submission

Clinical Expectations

Must be able to titrate heparin drips based on aPTT results

Additional Notes

Navy blue scrubs required
