Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Variable shifts
• Approximately 36 hours per week
• Weekend rotation required (day or night shifts)
• On-call duties required

Unit Information

• Operating Room with 8 beds
• Staff includes RNs and CSTs
• Day shift example staffing: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech

Typical Procedures

• Orthopedic surgery
• General surgery
• Neurosurgery
• Robotic surgery
• Trauma surgery

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Required License

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Hampshire

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in the specialty

Preferred Skills

• Trauma surgery experience is preferred but not mandatory

Personality Fit

Additional Information

• Scrubs provided by the facility
• No floating to other units

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience as an RN
• Operating Room experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience in Orthopedic Surgery
• Experience in Neurosurgery
