Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech
Location

Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 schedule)
- Rotating weekend shifts: Tuesday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with Monday off
- Every other weekend and 1 Saturday per month required
Job Description
- Position: Mammography Technologist
- Floating required to a breast center and mobile mammography van traveling throughout the Bay Area
- Transportation provided to/from the main location
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in California
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Background and Compliance Requirements
- 7-year background check including SSN trace, county searches, sex offender, and education verification
- FACIS Level 3 screening required within 2 weeks of start and monthly thereafter
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required and updated annually
- Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids per California law)
- Employment application with full 7 years of work history, no gaps
- Work history verification up to 7 years required
- Professional references: 2 required within 3 years for clinical/allied/per diem acute care candidates
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, cleared for work
- Fit mask test within 1 year, renewed annually (with accommodations for religious exemptions or failed tests)
- Immunizations and/or titers required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days, renewed annually
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titers or vaccination series with boosters as needed
- Hepatitis B: Positive titer, series, or signed declination
- Varicella: Positive titer or vaccination series with boosters as needed
- Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov 1 - Apr 30) or signed declination
- Drug testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids)
Certifications and Competencies
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Competency exams with minimum passing score of 80% or Angoff score if higher
- Additional certifications may be required based on position specifics (verify with recruiter)

- Must review and sign facility-specific documents including:
- Job description
- Standards of business conduct
- Confidentiality agreements
- HIPAA agreement
- Code of conduct and vendor training (for contracts signed after May 31, 2024)
