Job Overview

Position: Physical Therapist (PT) – Travel assignment
Location: Miami, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Hours: 36 hours per week
Unit: Rehab Department
Facility Type: Inpatient Rehab Facility (35 beds) and Acute Rehab (488 beds)
Patient Ratios:
- Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF): 1:4
- Acute Rehab: 1:12
- Outpatient: 1:10
Shift: Day shift (no night shift)
Documentation Systems: Meditech (IRF and Acute), NetHealth (Outpatient)
Equipment: Rehab equipment

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Work Environment & Dress Code

Staffing: Approximately 80 staff members including PT, OT, and ST
Dress Code: Scrubs in gray or black
