Trauma ICU (2 years of experience)
Trauma ICU experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Unit Details

18-bed ICU
Adult and pediatric patients over 15 years old
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1-2 in ICU, 1:4 in PCU
Charge nurse on each shift
Patient care tech support available
RNs titrate drips
Floating may include inpatient units except Maternity and NICU

Schedule

Self-scheduling, managed by the manager based on unit needs
4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
2 shifts of unit-specific orientation

Additional Notes

Manager interview only
Fast-paced unit with critically ill patients
Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
RTO must be submitted upfront; additional RTO will not be approved
Candidates must live outside the 50-mile radius and may not be employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity
