Stepdown Neuro RN

Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Wichita Falls, Texas
• Start date: late October
• Specialty: PCU / Neuro PCU
• Shift options: day shift, 12-hour shifts
• Weekly hours: 36
• Biweekly hours: 84 with a 72-hour guarantee
• Patient ratio at night: 1:4, sometimes 1:5
• Must be able to float divisional, to overflow, and to ED holds
• Must be able to work 2–3 holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

• Epic experience
• CPI

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
