Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New Jersey
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT RT(R)
• ARRT RT(CT)
• BLS
• High School Diploma or GED or completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or a College-based Radiography program

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and support CT procedures, including supplies, requisitions, sterility, and room readiness
• Communicate with patients and families before, during, and after procedures while maintaining privacy and dignity
• Verify patient identification and monitor patient condition before and after contrast injections
• Respond to emergencies and assist with urgent or unscheduled procedures
• Maintain inventory, cleanliness, and equipment readiness in the CT area
• Follow QA/QC requirements and venipuncture/power injector protocols
• Process and verify urgent images in PACS/RIS per protocol and notify the radiologist of unusual findings
