RN Oncology Infusion Clinic - Adult

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide nursing care to adult oncology infusion patients under general supervision.
  • Administer chemotherapy drugs, PO and SC injections, and other medications as ordered by physicians.
  • Consult with medical personnel regarding chemotherapy and side effects.
  • Assist physicians during conscious sedation and minor diagnostic procedures.
  • Monitor and document patient physiological data and responses to treatments.
  • Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
  • Educate patients and families about chemotherapy, clinic procedures, and care plans.
  • Coordinate patient follow-up activities, referrals, and phone triage after clinic visits.
  • Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oklahoma
  • Minimum of 1 year of Hematology/Oncology infusion nursing experience within the last year
  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

  • Must be able to maintain good working relationships with other employees.
  • Responsibilities include patient education, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare team members.
