RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Overview

  • Travel RN position in Somerset, Kentucky
  • 13-week contract
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 2 weekends per month
  • 2 openings

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Kentucky
  • Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • AWHONN
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with circulating or scrubbing in OR procedures

Unit Details

  • Labor and Delivery unit
  • Float to postpartum/mother-baby
  • 6 LDR rooms, 5 outpatient rooms, 2 ORs, and 1 recovery room
  • Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines

Additional Notes

  • Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for travel
  • Orientation is weekly on Mondays
  • All required certifications must be completed before start
