Location

Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Job Type

Contract
13 weeks
36 hours per week
Weekday schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Oncology (2 years of experience)
Oncology experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care and interventions for patients in Radiation Oncology
Assist with patient evaluation and examination with the Radiation Oncologist
Serve as a liaison between Radiation Oncology and other departments, physicians, and support resources
Provide teaching, counseling, and supportive care for patients and families
Coordinate referrals for recovery, rehabilitation, nursing home care, hospice, and nutritional services
